Font Analysis (own examples)

The fonts used for Pirates of the Caribbean really appeals to me. Two different fonts are used to create the title. "Pirates" and "Caribbean" are created using Pieces of Eight. "of the" is created using Caslon Antique.

Pieces of Eight is normally in capital letters and Caslon Antique in both.
The font looks old fashioned. However, it reminds me of Shakespearian handwriting. It has an antique effect which signifies the time the film was based in.
These fonts are very effective because the are Serif fonts which. They give an essence of the past filled with fantasies and adventurous stories.
